AP EDCET

A Common Entrance Test, designated as Education Common Entrance Test-2023 (AP Ed.CET-2023) will be conducted by the CONVENER, AP Ed.CET-2023, Department of Education, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admission into B.Ed. Regular Course and B.Ed. Special Education in the University /Government/ Aided and /Private Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh for the Academic Year2023-2024.

Eligibility

To be eligible for AP EDCET or to Attempt APEDCET Examination, the following criteria must be met:

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

 

Age Limit: The candidates should have completed the age of 19 years on the 1st of July in the year in which notification is issued. There shall be no maximum age limit.

Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have passed/appearing for final year examinations of B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./ B.C.A./B.B.M. at the time of   submitting the   Application   for AP Ed.CET-2022. Candidates are required to produce marks memo and pass certificate at the time of admission.

Percentage: Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree i.e., B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./B.C.A./B.B.M and or in the Post- Graduate Degree in relevant subject or 5 years integrated course in the relevant subject of methodology or any other qualification equivalent thereto. However, the candidates belonging to all other reserved categories S.C, S.T, B.C.(A/B/C/D/E), and physically handicapped should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.

Domicile: The candidate must satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as laid down by the government of Andhra Pradesh.

Note: The candidates who passed B.E/B.Tech. (With minimum of 55% of marks), with Mathematics, Physics are eligible for admission into the Course.

AP EDCET 2023 Preparation Plan

1.     now the syllabus: It is important to know the syllabus for AP EDCET thoroughly. 5.     Revise regularly: Regular revision is essential to ensure that you remember what you have studied. Make short notes on important topics and revise them regularly.
6.     Stay updated with current affairs: General knowledge is an important section in the AP EDCET exam. Stay updated with current affairs by reading newspapers, watching the news, or browsing online news portals.
7.     Stay focused and motivated: Staying focused and motivated throughout your preparation is crucial. Avoid distractions, stay positive, and believe in yourself.
