TG ECET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for TGICET Aspirants
- Qualifying Examinations:
- Diploma in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc (Mathematics as a subject) from recognized institutions.
- Pharmacy Diploma for B.Pharmacy lateral entry.
- Nationality:
- Indian National.
- Must satisfy local/non-local status requirements of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
- Marks Requirement:
- Diploma Holders: Minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
- B.Sc Graduates: Must have passed with Mathematics as a subject.
- Residency:
- Candidates must have studied in Telangana/AP for the last 4 years.
- Non-local candidates may apply but will have no reservation benefits.

Important Notes:
- B.Sc Graduates: Eligible for Engineering courses only, not Pharmacy.
- Pharmacy Candidates:
- Must have a Diploma in Pharmacy with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).
- Final-Year Students: Can apply provisionally (admission subject to passing the diploma).
- Lateral Entry:
- Diploma holders admitted directly into the 2nd year of B.Tech/B.Pharmacy.
- B.Sc graduates admitted into the 2nd year of Engineering courses.
Special Cases:
- Diploma Holders from Other States: Must obtain equivalence certificates from the TS State Board of Technical Education.
- Non-Engineering Diplomas: Not eligible (e.g., Diploma in Fashion Technology, Interior Design, etc.).
