UGC NET Konkani Marks Calculator: Skip the Manual Counting

Konkani is written across multiple scripts — Devanagari, Roman, and Kannada, depending on the region — which makes manually cross-referencing a Konkani response sheet against the answer key more error-prone than most subjects. Upload your response sheet here instead, and let the calculator handle the matching.

The Marking Scheme

Total Marks = (Correct in Paper 1 × 2) + (Correct in Paper 2 × 2)

  • Correct answer: +2 marks
  • Wrong answer: 0 marks — there is no negative marking
  • Question dropped after review: full marks for every candidate who attempted it

Paper 2 for Konkani typically carries 100 questions worth 200 marks, in addition to the 100-mark Paper 1, for 300 total.

Downloading Your Response Sheet

  • Visit ugcnet.nta.nic.in
  • Open the relevant link once your session’s response sheets go live
  • Log in using your Application Number, Date of Birth or password, and the security PIN
  • Download your question paper, response sheet, and the provisional answer key — do this promptly, as NTA typically removes access within 2–3 days

Objecting to the Answer Key

  • 4-day window opening the day the provisional key is published
  • ₹200 per question, non-refundable, payable by card, net banking, or UPI
  • A citation from a standard Konkani grammar or literature reference strengthens your objection
  • Only the provisional key accepts objections — the final key does not

Qualifying Marks

  • General category: 40% aggregate across both papers
  • Reserved categories: 35% aggregate
  • JRF: a higher cutoff announced subject-wise with the final result
