How to Get Your Score

  1. Download your Kashmiri (subject code 84) response sheet from ugcnet.nta.nic.in once your session’s key is released
  2. Upload the PDF above
  3. Click Analyze to see your total score and a full question-wise breakdown

How the Marks Are Calculated

Total Marks = (Correct in Paper 1 × 2) + (Correct in Paper 2 × 2)

  • Correct: +2 marks
  • Wrong: 0 marks — UGC NET carries no negative marking
  • Dropped question: full marks awarded to everyone who attempted it

Paper 2 typically has 100 questions worth 200 marks, added to Paper 1’s 100 marks, for 300 total.

A Common Manual-Counting Mistake

Kashmiri response sheets list questions by Question ID rather than a clean serial sequence, and IDs occasionally skip numbers between shifts. Line up your response sheet against the wrong row of the key even once, and every score after that point is wrong. This calculator matches by actual Question ID, so a skipped or reordered ID never causes a miscount.
