The Marking Scheme
Total Marks = (Correct in Paper 1 × 2) + (Correct in Paper 2 × 2)
- Correct answer: +2 marks
- Wrong answer: 0 marks — there is no negative marking
- Question dropped after review: full marks for every candidate who attempted it
Paper 2 for Arabic typically carries 100 questions worth 200 marks, in addition to the 100-mark Paper 1, for 300 total.

Objecting to the Answer Key
